Amendment 87, a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, was on the November 2, 1993 ballot in the State of Washington, where it was approved.
Voters were asked, "Shall the constitutional provision which gives jurisdiction in cases in equity to superior courts be amended to include district courts?"
The act by the Washington State Legislature to put the proposed amendment on the ballot was House Joint Resolution 4201.
