This measure would have ceased operation of The Evergreen State College at the end of the 2011-2012 academic year. Additionally, the measure would have repealed the requirement that each board of state college trustees appoint a treasurer.

In order to qualify for the ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 241,153 valid signatures. As of July 8, 2011, petition deadline day, no signatures were filed.
