Washington Initiative 673, also known as the Health Insurance Initiative, was on the November 4, 1997 election ballot in Washington as an Initiative to the People, where it was defeated.
The question asked on the ballot was, "Shall health insurance plans be regulated as to provision of services by designated health care providers, managed care provision, and disclosure of certain plan information?"
