Washington Limit on Campaign Contributions, Initiative 134 (1992)

November 3, 1992 general election ballot in Washington. Sponsor Carl Erickson filed 227,060 signatures to qualify it for the ballot as an Initiative to the Legislature.
When the legislature did not take action on the proposed legislation, as provided by state constitution the measure was placed on the ballot where it passed overwhelmingly.

Text on the Ballot
The language that appeared on the ballot read, "Shall campaign contributions be limited; public funding of state and local campaigns be prohibited; and campaign related activities be restricted?"
