This measure did not or will not appear on a ballot

The Washington Marijuana Initiative, did not make the November 2012 statewide ballot in Washington as an Initiative to the People.

The proposed measure would have reclassified marijuana as an agricultural product and allow for the possession and sale of marijuana.^[1]

In order to qualify for the ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 241,153 valid signatures by July 6, 2012.
