A Wayne School District Tax Increase measure was on the April 20, 2010 ballot in the township of Wayne which is in Passaic County.

This measure was approved

  • NO 4,592 (46.40%)[1]

This measure sought to increase local property taxes in the school district area in order to help with budget shortfalls that are expected for the coming school year. The average home in the area will see property taxes raised $250 a year in order to help with the school budget. The school district has already cut programs and teachers as well as increased prices for students to participate in sports and clubs.[2]
