This measure was defeated
This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $17.7 million in order to help additions to the High school, updating technology at the schools as well as improving facility sites and purchasing new buses. School board officials noted that it was hard to decide to put a bond on the ballot but felt that the improvements were needed at the schools. A larger bond was first discussed but board members decided on reductions hoping it would have a better chance of getting approved.
