Eight West Palm Beach City Charter Amendment measures were on the March 13, 2012 ballot in the city of West Palm Beach which is in Palm Beach County.

Six of the eight measures were approved[1]

The eight measures sought to amend the charter in regards to vacancies, appointment of the mayor, term limits, runoff elections, special elections and making general grammar change in the charter as needed.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Amendment 1: A vacancy on the city commission caused by the resign to run law is filled by appointment by the city commission. Shall the Charter of the City of West Palm Beach, Florida, be amended to provide that a vacancy on the city commission created by the resign to run law shall be filled by the voters at the next regular general election in March for which the vacancy was created?[3]
