There was a West Point Keno Question on the May 11 ballot in Cuming County for voters in the city of West Point.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 347 (45.30%)
  • NO 406 (54.70%)Defeatedd[1]

This ballot measure asked voters if they wanted to allow keno within the city limit, allowing gambling to take place in certain designated businesses. Proponents said it would keep gambling money within the community but opponents said that they did not feel that gambling was good for a family friendly environment.[2]
