Wet Up Petitions - Cleburne, Texas (2009)

There were two Wet Up Petitions on the May 9 ballot in Johnson County for voters to approve in the city of Cleburne.

These measures asked voters to approve the sale of beer and wine in stores, and also to allow the sale of mixed drinks in restaurants.

The election was held on May 9th, 2009.[1]

Both initiatives were approved.[2]

Proposition 1: Bring the sale of beer and wine to stores

  • Yes: 65% Approveda
  • No: 35%

Proposition 2:Bring the sale of mixed drinks to restaurants Approveda[3]

National Ballot Access was the signature vendor for the petition drive.
