Wet Up Petitions - Lubbock County, Texas (2009)

If voted in, these two initiatives will:
  1. Bring the sale of beer and wine to stores.
  2. Bring the sale of mixed drinks to restaurants.

The election will be held on May 9th, 2009.

Both initiatives were approved.[1]

Proposition 1: expands packaged alcohol sales in the county

  • Yes: 64.5% Approved
  • No: 35.5%

Proposition 2: allows mixed-drink sales in restaurants passed

  • Yes: 69.5% Approved
  • No: 30.5%

The jurisdiction of these petitions is Lubbock County, Texas.[2]

National Ballot Access was the signature vendor for the petition drive.
