There was a Whatcom County Fire Protection District 21 Commissioner Increase proposition on the November 3 ballot in Whatcom County for voters in the district.
The measure was approved.[1]
- YES 4,194 (51.62%)
- NO 3,930 (48.38%)
This proposition will increase the number of commissioners from the current number of three to five. This was proposed in order for the district to better be able to serve the residents.[2]

"Shall the Board of Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 21 d/b/a North Whatcom Fire & Rescue be increased from three members to five members?" [3]
