  • NO 1,093 (54.27%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought approval of a bond in the amount of $15 million in the school district for the coming school year. The school district saw this as the way to continue services offered for students as well as maintaining operations.[2] School officials were a bit shocked with the results, they had thought this would pass easily and were not sure why voters turned it down. Residents noted that asking for as much as $15 million was a bit high at this time and voters had a right to turn it down.[3]
