Batchelder represented District 81 from 1969 to 1999 and served as Speaker Pro Tempore from 1995 to 1998.
Biography
Batchelder earned a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University and a J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law. He worked for 31 years at the Williams and Batchelder Law Firm. Batchelder also served as a judge on the Ninth District Court of Appeals and the Common Pleas Court in Medina County. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army.
