Friend is Executive Director of the National Calcium Initiative, Owner/President of Green Acres Ham, LLC, and Owner/Operator of Friend Farms. He has previously been Coordinator of Logansport Memorial Hospital Foundation, Miami County Auditor, and an employee with Sealed Power Corporation.
He is a member of the Independent Colleges of Indiana Board, Masons, Miami County Pork Producers, Peru Chamber of Commerce, Murat Shrine, Scottish Rite, Farm Bureau, Mexico Baptist Church, and the Lincoln Lodge Free and Ancient Masons #523.[1]
