William G. Hussman, Jr. is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He was first appointed to this position in 1988.
Judge Hussman received his B.A. degree (1972) and his law degree (1975) from Valparaiso University.
Judge Hussman began his legal career in 1976 as private practice lawyer in Wilmington, North Carolina. In 1981, he became a Deputy Attorney General. He worked in this position for two years. He then worked for Associated Insurance Co. and as a staff attorney for the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission until his 1988 judicial appointment.
