Biography
Famous for his continual work to keep New Hampshire's presidential primary as the first in the nation, Gardner himself prefers to stay in the background. The man who has been dubbed, "King Bill," speaks little of himself. When interviewed by The Daily Caller for a profile on him, Gardner said, “Well, I’d rather you do a story about New Hampshire and the primary — tell that story.”[2]
