A Windsor Medical Marijuana Dispensary Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Windsor, which is in both Larimer and Weld Counties.
Overall this measure was approved
Larimer County:
- YES 1,712 (73.38%)
- NO 621 (26.62%)[1]
Weld County:
- YES 3,572 (62.73%)
- NO 2,122 (37.27%)[2]
This measure asked city residents if they wanted to allow marijuana dispensaries in the city.[3]
Questions regarding the validity of the signatures collected arose in September 2010, two months prior to the election. Town clerk had until September 27 to make a decision if the issue would stay on the ballot. If this it was removed, the town board's regulation on marijuana would be take affect. However, as November 2010 the measure remained on the ballot.[4]
