The question on the ballot:
|Shall the Town of Winthrop be allowed to impose an increase in sales and use tax in the amount of 0.1% on the selling price in the case of sales tax, or the value of the article used in the case of use tax, and such revenue to be used by the Town at least one-third (1/3) for criminal justice purposes or fire protection purposes, or both, to be effective as of January 1, 2012?|
