Wisconsin AG says voter lawsuit only costs taxpayers $155

Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says his lawsuit seeking additional identity checks on Wisconsin voters has only cost taxpayers $155.[1]
Low Cost
Van Hollen made the claim in a letter to Rep. Mark Pocan and Sen. Mark Miller, two Democrats on the Legislature's budget committee. Pocan and Miller say Van Hollen's lawsuit is an attempt to disenfranchise voters and they had twice asked him for an accounting of its costs. He says so far only the $155 filing fee has been spent.
Van Hollen's lawsuit seeks to force elections officials to check the information of voters who registered since 2006 against other government databases to verify their identities.
