State legislative project
This page is a content-and-style guide about how to write about the legislative district of an incumbent state legislator or a candidate for state legislature.

Many of the country's state legislative district boundaries will be re-drawn about the 2010 elections, due to the 2010 federal census.

As a result, it is probably not a good use of time to write extensive sections that elaborately describe the boundaries of the legislative district your incumbent or candidate is associated with, because after the 2010 election, that district will most likely no longer exist in the same form.
