Every incumbent should have campaign donor information from the prior election, at minimum. Most will have many years of prior data available.

The best website for campaign donor information is Open Secrets. There are several bits of information to include in a campaign donor section.

  • Overall sum of money raised for an election
  • Office that the candidate ran for
  • Result of the election

Additionally, once the box has been added a "|Campaign $ = " parameter needs to be added to the infobox. It should be filled in with the grand total raised from the box.

More notes

  • The information can be found at Open Secrets website here
  • The intro sentence will auto-populate based upon the various parameters in the template.
