There is a template called {{inc new office}}

By pasting this template at the bottom of the profile and then filling in the parameters, the categories will appear.

There are two basic parameters:

{{inc new office|CURRENT OFFICE|CANDIDACY|YEAR}}

Filling in the appropriate category for current office and Candidacy and Year will cause the correct category to display.
