• Make sure to name the file something descriptive. For candidates, just use the person's name. For example, .
 • For photos emailed by candidates, use ""

Adding images to pages

Infobox

For candidates, you can put the file name in the infobox for "Profile picture." For example:

 • |Profile picture = John Kerry.jpg

In the page

For other images, you can let the site automatically place the image on the page, or you can put the image exactly where you want it to be.

Automatic

For the site to put the image on the righthand side of the page where it fits (underneath any righthand template or table of contents), just insert the following code near the top of the page:

 •

Replace the XXXX with the file name and the CAPTION with the desired caption.

You may also hyperlink text in the caption. For example:

 •

Precise placement

If you need an image to appear in a certain place, you can force the site to display the image there by bracketing the same image code within table coding.

For example, the following code:

Will appear as:

1st Congressional District
