Wyoming City Millage Usage Change (November 2010)
This measure was defeated
- 'YES 6,614 (39.8%)
- NO 10,007 (60.2%)
This measure asked voters if they wanted to take the millage dedicated to capital improvements in the city and put it instead in the general city fund. City officials also had planned to consolidate other taxes, notably that for park and recreational services in the city, if this had passed. Those that work for the parks say that if consolidation had occurred they would lose funding and services would be cut. City officials though said that consolidation would better help the city stabilize property values.
