The Wyoming Food Tax Exemption Initiative was proposed on May 19, 2005 in Wyoming. It would have removed the sales and use tax on food for domestic home consumption.
To make the ballot, sponsors of the initiative needed to file 36,868 signatures with the Wyoming Secretary of State by December 1, 2006. This did not happen, and the initiative therefore failed.
