York Town Ordinance Changes (May 2010)
Several York Town Ordinance Changes were on the May 22, 2010 ballot in the town of York in York County.
All ordinances were approved except one to install new bleachers for visitors at York High School.[1]
There were 23 proposed ordinance changes on the May 22 ballot for residents in York. Some of the main proposed changes were whether to expand the surfing area to allow for both swimming and surfing, to approve the zoning for a proposed artist colony in the area as well as approving new mooring regulations which would speed up the wait for those trying to get approval of their applications. There were also seven proposed repeals of ordinances that were outdated and no longer in use by the town.[2]
