John Edwards is a Democratic member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing the 38th District since 2009.

Edwards is a lawyer, Colonel in the National Guard, and veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.[1]

Issue positions

Edwards did not provide answers to the Arkansas State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Edwards is seeking re-election to the 38th district seat in 2010. He faced no opposition in the May 18 primary.[3] He now runs unopposed in the November 2 general election.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Edwards won election to the 38th District Seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives, defeating opponent Kelly Eichler (R).[4]

Edwards raised $149,590 for his campaign, while Eichler raised $127,312.[5]
