Scanlan is running for re-election to the 56th District seat in 2010. She has no opposition in the August 10 primary. Debra Irvine is running for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election takes place on November 2, 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Scanlan won re-election to the 56th District seat in the Colorado House of Representatives, defeating opponent Ali Hasan (R).[2]

Scanlan raised $87,289 for her campaign, while Hasan raised $364,225.[3]
