Bond ran in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Twelfth Bristol District. He was defeated by Roger Brunelle, Jr. in the Democratic primary on September 6.[1]

Note: Unofficial results put Brunelle ahead of Bond by 11 votes.
