Adam M. Brown is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives. He has represented district 101 since 2011.

Brown is a farmer and Decatur City Councilman; he was the youngest person ever elected to the Decatur council at age 23.[1] He served in the Illinois Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service. He is also a member of the Macon County Farm Bureau. Brown is a graduate of Richland Community College and the University of Illinois.

Brown is running for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives in 2012. Due to the redistricting, Brown is running in district 102. He defeated Robert Roman in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012, and is unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]


Brown defeated incumbent Democrat Robert F. Flider in the state's November 2, 2010 general election.[3]
