Adrienne Wooten (b. March 7, 1974) is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 71. She was first elected to the chamber in 2007.


Wooten is an attorney. She earned her B.A. from Alcorn State University and J.D. from the University of Mississippi.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Wooten won re-election to District 71 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[2][3]

On November 6, 2007 Wooten was elected in District 71, defeating Republican challenger John Reeves in the general election.[4] She defeated Timothy Rush in the primary election.[5]
