Albert A. "Al" Stirpe (b. May 16, 1953) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 127. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.


Stirpe earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1975. His professional experience includes being the Founder/President of Qube Software, and as the Chief Financial Officer/Founder/Owner of CID Technologies. [1]

Stirpe ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 127. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. He defeated incumbent Donald Miller in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
