The 5th Congressional District of Alabama is a congressional district in northern Alabama.

Alabama's 5th congressional district includes the counties of Colbert, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison and Jackson. It also includes part of Morgan County.[1]

The current representative of the 5th congressional district is Mo Brooks (R).

The 5th congressional district of Alabama will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012.

2010

On November 2, 2010, Mo Brooks won election to the United States House. He defeated Steve Raby in the general election.[2]
