In 2013, four of the top enrollment school districts in Alaska held elections for a total of 11 school board seats across the state. In 2014, the same four districts will hold elections for a total of ten school board seats. Anchorage School District will hold its election on April 1, 2014 and Fairbanks North Star Borough School District will hold its election on November 4, 2014. Both Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District will hold their elections on October 7, 2014.
