Alexander William "Alex" Schaeffer was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 10 of the Montana House of Representatives.


Campaign themes


Schaeffer told the Daily Inter Lake that making the most out of tax revenues was a reason why he ran, suggesting that money be used on promoting tourism, job training in the medical field, and keeping up infrastructure; without such action, he said that tax money should be returned. He also expressed opposition to the state legislature's lack of response to the Affordable Health Care act.[1]

Schaeffer ran in the 2012 election for Montana House of Representatives, District 10. Schaeffer ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by incumbent Mark Blasdel (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
