Allen Evans (b. July 11, 1939) is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District XX. He was first elected to the chamber in 1990.

Evans has represented District 54 since 2012 and represented District 48 from 1990 to 2012.

Biography

Evans worked as President of Evans Poultry, Incorporated, a farmer, and on the Board of Directors of Wampler-Longacre Chicken. He served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Evans also served on the Grant County Board of Education from 1980 to 1990.[1]

Evans ran for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 54. Evans ran unopposed in the May 8 primary election and was unchallenged in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

Evans was re-elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 48 in the November 2, 2010 general election. He defeated Republican Phyllis M. Cole in the May 11 primary. He was unopposed in the general election.[5][6][7]
