Amaryllis "Amy" Thomas was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 58 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Thomas is a retired teacher, counselor, and paralegal. She received her B.A. from Eastern Michigan University, her M.A. from the University of Michigan, her paralegal diploma from Oakland University, and her J.D. magna cum laude from Novus Law School.[1]

Thomas ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 58. Thomas ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Kenneth Kurtz (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
