Amy Schumacher was a Democratic candidate for District 72 of the Kansas House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative elections.

Amy L Schumacher is running to represent the 72nd district (Newton, North Newton, Macon Township, and Darlington Township) for Kansas State House of Representatives. She is committed to protecting Kansas Schools, securing services for seniors, supporting worker's rights, and helping small businesses succeed. She is endorsed by the Kansas National Educators Association.

Amy is a United States Air Force veteran.
