Amy Vruwink (May 22, 1975) is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 70th District since 2003.

Vruwink has worked as an area program director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau and a legislative aide to Representative David R. Obey.

He is a member of the Central Wisconsin Fair Association, Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marshfield Business and Professional Women, Marshfield Eagles, National Rifle Association (NRA), New Visions Art Gallery, Saint James Parish, Wisconsin Bear Hunters, Wisconsin Hunting and Fishing Alliance, and the Wood County Farm Bureau.[1]

Vruwink was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 70. She defeated Republican John Spiros in the general election on November 2, 2010. Vruwink was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election. [2]

  • AB-50 OWI violation: DOT required to purge record of conviction, suspension, or revocation after 10 years unless a person has a CDL or was operating a commercial motor vehicle at time of offense
  • AB-51 Technical college courses: one-third must be scheduled after 5:00 p.m. and every course must be taught after 5:00 p.m. once every three years
