Marschall ran in the 2010 election for North Dakota State House District 45. Marschall ran with Joe Heilman in the Republican primary election on June 8, 2010. Marschall and Heilman were defeated by incumbent Ed Gruchalla (D) and Prairie Rose Seminole (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1][2]
