Schor won election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 68. He defeated Anne Clayton, Dale Copedge, Harold J. Leeman, Jr., Ted O'Dell, Griffin Rivers, and A'Lynne Robinson in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Timothy Moede (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.
