Angelo Santabarbara is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 111. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.


Santabarbara earned his B.S. from State University New York, Albany. His professional experience includes working as an engineer and being the founder/owner of the Santabarbara Cheese Company. Santabarbara served in the United States Army Reserves from 1990-1998. [1]

Santabarbara ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 111. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Working Families Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets. He defeated Thomas L. Quackenbush in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

Santabarbara was a Democratic candidate for District 105 of the New York State Assembly. He was uncontested in the September 14 Democratic primary. Santabarbara was defeated by incumbent George Amedore (R) in the general election on November 2.[5][6]
