Ann Callis is a Democratic candidate for the United States House of Representatives in the 2014 election. She is running in the 13th Congressional District of Illinois.[1][2] She defeated George Gollin and David Green in the Democratic primary on March 18, 2014.[3]

Callis was the chief judge of the Third Circuit of Illinois. She became chief judge in 2006 and was retained in 2012, but announced her resignation from the court on May 3, 2013 in order to run for Illinois' 13th Congressional District.[4][5][6] She officially announced her candidacy on May 8th, 2013.[2]
