Ann Hraychuck (b.July 24, 1951) was a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 28th District since 2007. She was Majority Caucus Secretary.

Prior to her election to the Assembly, she served as Sheriff of Polk County from 2001-2006, and with the Polk County Sheriff's Department from 1973-2005.

Hraychuck is the Chair of Deer Hunt for Hunters with Disabilities, and a member of the National Rifle Association, Polk County Sportsmen's Club, Saint Croix Falls Rotary Club, Whitetails Unlimited, Wisconsin Bear Hunter's Association, Wisconsin Bow Hunter's Association, and Wisconsin Sheriff's/Deputy Sheriff's Association.[1]

On her campaign website Hraychuck lists her top legislative priorities as "making health care affordable, ensuring a quality education for our kids, controlling taxes and creating and maintaining family supporting jobs."[2]

Hraychuck was defeated in her bid for re-election to Wisconsin State Assembly District 28. She was defeated by Republican Erik Severson in the general election on November 2, 2010. Hraychuck was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election. [3]

  • AB-222 Hunting and firearm possession revisions re accompaniment of hunters under age 16, hunting with a crossbow on certain lands, and possession of firearm for target practice age restriction; hunting mentorship program established and minimum hunting age lowered
  • AB-355 Deer hunting with bow and arrow and license issued during open deer bow hunting season: three day waiting period repealed
