Ann Rest

Ann Rest (b. April 24, 1942) is a Democratic member of the Minnesota Senate. She was first elected to the position in 2000, and re-elected in 2002 and 2006, her term expiring in 2010. Before becoming a Senator, Rest served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1986 to 2000.Rest earned her Bachelor's degree from Northwestern and earned Master's degrees at Chicago, Harvard, and Minnesota. Rest is a former Certified Public Accountant.
