Kaiser worked as an Economist and Policy Analyst with the United States Treasury Department from 1995-2002. She has also been a Policy Analyst with the Maryland Department of Education, teaching assistant at the University of Michigan, legislative assistant to Delegate Henry B. Heller, and staff assistant to United States Representative Neal Smith.
Kaiser is House Chair of the Maryland Educators Caucus, and a member of the County Affairs Committee - Montgomery County Delegation, Maryland Bicycle and Pedestrian Caucus, Maryland Green Caucus, and Women Legislators of Maryland.[1]
