Annette Robinson is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. She has represented District 56 since winning a special election in February 2002. Robinson is the majority conference vice-chair for the New York State Assembly. Her other political experiences include member of the New York City Council; member of Community School Board, District 16; and district leader/state committeewoman for the 56th Assembly District Speaker, New York City Council.

Robinson's professional experiences include coordinator and liaison for New York City Comptroller Harrison Goldin and district director for United States Representative Major Owens.

Robinson earned her BS and MA from New Hampshire College. She and her husband, William, have six children.[1]
