Anthony Brindisi is a Democratic candidate in the September 13 special election for the New York State Assembly, District 116. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when RoAnn Destito (D) resigned from the Assembly to become the New York State Office of General Services Commissioner.[1]

Brindisi is a partner at Brindisi, Murad, Brindisi, Pearlman, Julian & Pertz, LLP. He is a graduate of Siena College and Albany Law School. He is member of the Utica School Board. Brindisi is married and has two children.[2]

Brindisi faces Gregory Johnson (R) in the September 13, 2011 special election. Brindisi is also running on the Independence and Working Family Party tickets.
