Anthony Chiappone (b. November 13, 1957) was a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 31 from 2008-2010. He also previously served from 2004-2005. Chiappone pleaded guilty to filing false campaign finance reports in June 2010 and resigned.[1]

Chiappone was a member of the Bayonne City Council from 2002-2009.[2]

Chiappone successfully won re-election in the November 3, 2009 general election. He was bracketed with Charles Mainor and defeated Republican challengers Irene Kim Asbury and Marie Day, along with Next Generations Leader candidate Omar Dyer and Our Future Now candidate Neil Scott.[5] [6]
